Greeting Card Envelope

If you don't have envelope that will fit your greeting card then make your own.

Materials needed:
  • Paper (square)
  • Glue
Steps:

1. Turn around the paper to have a diamond shape. Fold it vertically to have a center crease.

2. Fold the 3 corners (left, right, top) toward the center crease.

3. Fold the lower corner upward leaving a 1 cm space from the top crease.

4. Fold the excess lower corner backward as shown below.

5. Paste the lower part on folded left and right sides.

This envelope is ready to use.

How to Cut Paper Flower

Flower is the one of the easiest decoration we can do. Here's another style of five-petals flower.

Materials needed:
  • Paper (square)
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
Steps:

1. Fold the paper diagonally to have a triangle.

2. Fold the triangle in the center and mark lower part as point a.

3. Fold the right corner upward toward the center crease. Mark the slant crease as point b.

4. Fold the center top of triangle to point b. This will make another crease as point c.

5. Fold upward the right corner from the crease of point a to point c.

6. Fold the left corner toward the edge of right side.

7. Fold backward the left corner toward the edge of left side.

8. Fold the right side to the edge of left as shown below.

9. Cut the excess top part.

10. Draw and cut the pattern below.

Unfold the paper and you have a lovely flower.

Graduation Card

Here's an easy-to-do Graduation card for your friends, siblings, child and relatives.

Materials needed:
  • Black-Colored Paper (half crosswise of a bond paper)
  • Colored Paper (yellow and purple)
  • White paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil
  • Marker (black and orange)
Steps:

1. Fold the paper into two to become card.

2. Draw one big star on the yellow paper while six small stars on purple paper and cut it all.

3. Paste one purple star on the center of the big star then paste it on the card.

4. Get another purple star and fold it to get the center. Put a glue on the center fold and paste it on the top of purple star above the big star.

5. Draw and cut another three small stars using the yellow paper. Paste these three stars around the big star.

6. On the white paper draw a graduation cap with tassel. Cut it off and paste it on the top of big star.

7. For the inside of the card. get the yellow paper and cut a rectangular shape which is smaller than the card. Paste this inside the card where you will write your letter. Paste the remaining purple stars on the corners of the yellow paper.

Below is the finished Graduation card. I'd wrote three encouragement words inside the small stars. On the center star, I'd wrote the name of the person to whom I will give this card. And of course, let us not forget the word Congratulations to greet our recipient.

Butterfly Origami

Here's a cute butterfly for decoration.

Materials needed:
  • Paper (square)
  • A strip of paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
Steps:

1. Make 8 crease by folding the paper into triangle 3 times (3x).

2. Fold the paper into triangle by pushing inward both left and right sides of paper and flattened the top and bottom sides.

3. Fold the triangle into a smaller one then cut into curved the corner with four edges.

4. Unfold the triangle into bigger one on which both lower corners have curved edges. Fold both corners upward toward the center.

5. Flip back the paper then fold back the lower part upward leaving a small triangle of center corner.

6. Put a glue on the center corner then paste it downward..

7. For its antenna, fold the strip of paper into two then curl both ends.

8. Paste the antenna to the body of butterfly.

You can now use this butterfly for your decoration.

Valentine's Day Card

Want an easy-to-do card for your loved ones? This card can be used not only on Valentine's Day,  but also on Mother's Day or Father's Day.

Materials needed:
  • White Paper (half crosswise of a bond paper)
  • Strips of paper
  • Red paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Red Pastel/Crayons
Steps:

1. Fold the paper into two.

2. Fold the left side of the paper toward the center.

3. On the folded left side, draw a heart and cut it off.

4. Trace the heart on the right side.

5. Get the red paper and cut a heart which a little smaller than on the white paper. Paste it on the traced heart.

6. Roll the strips of paper by putting glue on its edge so it will not move.

7. Paste the rolled paper on the outer edge of the red heart. Make sure that when you close the card, it fits on the cut heart.

8. Color the edge of the cut heart with red.

9. Used the left strips of paper as additional for garnish for your card.

Below is the finished card. You can change the word inside the red heart like I Miss You, Thank You, Sorry. You may also try to change the color based on their favorite color.

Wallet Origami

This wallet has 6 pockets: 2 inside pockets, 2 pockets on the upper outside and 2 pockets on the lower part of the wallet.

Materials needed:
  • Paper (rectangular)
  • Glue and any decoration (optional)
Steps:

1. Make 5 creases by folding the paper as shown below. 

2. On the 1-inch folded part, fold the corners diagonally to the next crease. 

3. Fold both sides to the center crease. 

4. Flip back the paper and fold it into two. 

5. Fold the lower part to the center crease. 

6. Fold the upper part surpassing the center crease by 1 cm. 

Below is the side and top view of the folded paper.

7. Tuck the 1 cm exceeded part of the upper fold to lower fold.

8. Fold the paper and you can now use the wallet. 

9. You can decorate this origami to have a lovely wallet.
